What you recieved is something known here as an S Line apperance package. S Line badging outside only possibly with the 21" but none of the S Line interior stuff. Per my dealer you can longer order the 21's.

Shep, I am not able to keep up with the Q7 constantly changing options. Some of the "standard" options in 2007 differed from what was in the catalog to what was delivered as standard. It is really up to you on what you think an option is worth (aside from what the invoice says). To me, the wheels and plastic flares you see on arU4ic's Q are worth alot more to me than $1000. On the other hand, Alot of people couldnt care less on wheels/tires though.
Side note, I definitely like your combo choice for winter! I just put on a set of Blizzaks on my Pathfinder. Waiting for the inevitable snow to see how they perform.

They also told me that the wheel well liners or flares are not part of my vehicle specs and they still can't figure out why I have a 3 spoke S-LIne steering wheel without the S-Line badging.

yes, I did think about speccing these. Not so much worried about teh snow as i run 18s with snow tires all winter but teh weather in shoulder seasons can also dump snow so decided to stick with the 20s. the 21s do look purty tho!. When i demoed one i did notice a bit of tramlining on the 21s. Have you had any issues?

I am not sure, but pull the window sticker. The S line Steering wheel has Red Stitching, and never has "wood" trim -- always has Brushed Nichol inside. Also the 21 inch option (wheels or not) has the wheel well accents (see the audi configurator... the picture changes to the accents when you select 21 inch option). Unless a lot has changed, it appears you may not have an S line, or the 21 inch option.

Things have changed a bit for 2011 MY Q7s.
The S-line Prestige comes with the s-line exterior trim but the interior is standard Q7, ie wood accents and 4 spoke wheel.
The S-line interior package is a $1500 option and gets you the Aluminium trim and 3 poke wheel with paddle shifters. There is no red stitching on the wheel, just the red s-line logo on the bottom spoke.

I hope you are right. I'm currently shopping for a Q7. Dealer told me I can't order the s line 21" rims anymore as they stopped making them. He then proceeded to try and get my into one of their Q7's on the lot. I smelled "bullcrap" and walked out the door.
