The MMI-dataplan means that the 2012 Q7 will have the new MMI software from the A7 and new A6. That again means new design and internt-connection to get google-earth mapdata.
There will also be new steeringwheels (again from the A6/A7)

My dealer confirmed that Canada will NOT be receiving the MMI with Audi Connect (data plan) as none of our local wireless providers (Rogers, Telus, Fido, etc.) has stepped up to support it yet. Rats....

So is it not possible to get this google-earth iternet MMI on 2011 Q7 ?
If not , to bad for me because I ordered a 2011 Q7 P-Plus a few weeks ago .

just like the 2011, LED DRLs are in the Plus package and specifically mentioned....since the term "LED" is still omitted from the Premium description i assume that the 2012 will be the same

I get my 2012 Q7 next week. I have googole maps and WiFi in my car. So i assume thats the data plan thats referred in the option list. The service is through T-Mobile. This option is similar to the 2011 A7 and will be adding this to all of there vehicles in 2012.
I am also getting the S-line package and added the 21" rims as well.

I'm in the market for a 2012 Q7. I got a hold of the 2012 Options list. Unfortunatley no prices yet. but scanning through the list I can see a couple new things:
1. Audi MMI Navigation now has a data plan. What does that mean?
2. There is a new S Line Plus package that includes 21" titanium rims, black roof rails, gloss black grille surround, and matte black window surrounds.
Can anyone else spot anything else different in the 2012 options list compared to the 2011's?

Don't get our 2012 Q7 S-line Prestige until next month or even possibly early Sept. The dealer mentioned adding Audi Connect into the order...does that mean the vehicle will also have a touchpad entry thing like the A8, A7, and A6? Or is it just a software upgrade with the 2011 external hardware (more likely in my opinion).
