I ordered a 2012 Q7 S-line from my local dealer in the 1st week of June. They just called me and said that Audi is not producing S-lines for another 3 to 4 months. Told me that there was a letter sent out to inform all the dealers that the first S-lines would delivered in January or later. Has anyone heard of this?
I'll be contacting AOA in Michigan.

Doesn't sound right. I ordered a TDI Q7, 2012 Sline with the larger rims, etc. in the spring, picked it up in Mid July. Sitting in the garage right now.

well, my order is for the supercharged/prestige q7 with s-line interior. last i heard from the dealer was there was a 60 time until receipt. i ordered 3rd week of june and (still) expect the vehicle near the end of sept. we shall see...

would appreciate any other updates from other folks.

Spoke to AoA in Michigan today. Very helpful and knowledgable.
It seems that the Q7 S-line allocations are slim. They have a problem that most companies would love. Too much demand, not enough supply on the production side. I ordered my Q7 S-line June 1st. It is just now going into the production side with the build estimated to be the 3rd week of September, delivery towards the end of October. AoA admitted that although it's good for them as a company, many people are stupified that they may be waiting almost 6 months for a car to be built and delivered. Needless to say, some business will go elsewhere.
Hope this information helps with others in the same situation!

The Q7 S-line I ordered is the Superchaged 333hp with s-line interior and the new s-line exterior black-out package with titanium 21" wheels.

The problem is not primarily with Audi, but more specifically with third party parts manufacturers not able to meet Audi's demands as well as those of the T-Regs and new Cayenne; so says my dealer.

Sline Interior ( I don't think there is a Sline engine option like the gas line)it is either all the way or nothing, but not 100%) I think I actually had to get the Sline then a second sline adder of some type to get the larger rims and dark alloy window trim) $ + more $

It was in the first batch 0f 2012's to hit Houston.
