Hi,
I have an 2014 Q7 TDI that is scheduled to go in next week for the emissions repair. It has about 65K miles and it's already had the rear main seal replaced about 6 months ago..thank god that was covered by the Class Bridge warranty from the Diesel class action lawsuit. Now it looks like I have a transmission issue has the car is having issues shifting from 1st and 2nd gear. I really hope I don't need a new transmission as I don't know if that will be covered under the warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions?
From reading past posts in the forum, a possible transmission oil service might fix this issue or give a better diagnosis of what the exact issue is. I'm not sure if the transmission acting up was caused by the rear main seal being replaced.
Anyone have any ideas or comments, please feel free to reply.
Thanks!
