you can swap out the interior trim very easily but s-line and sline+ are both options worth having especially now with the extended leather / luxury package. (is the headliner going to be black or the original silver?)

The new 2016 q7 should be at the Paris auto show in the fall. It's just a question of how long it will take to come to the US market.

My guess is summer 2015 as a 2016 model.

Nello3 - You need to get a new sales guy or dealer.... :-) I bought (ordered) a 2015 Audi Q7 TDI in late April. Granted I didn't know the price, but I had all the available options and the 2015 order guide then. Its scheduled to be delivered to Jim Ellis on the 21st of this month.

I was hedging my bets in april that it would be the new version, I knew it was a long shot, but the deal we negotiated was well worth waiting 3 months for a 2015 instead of a 2014 from a price/value perspective.

VIN # is 2571.. I was amazed that ordering in April (order was accepted the 5th of May by Audi) I still have the 2571st Q7 off the assembly line. LOL.

I'm wondering if the dealer was trying to hold something back. I rejected the vehicle last week and told him to order it properly this time.

Daytona grey instead of lava.
s-line plus.
carbon fiber inlays.

The dealer experiences is why I always avoided audi and went with bmw or Merc, so I guess this was to be expected.

That's unfortunate.... My experience with Jim Ellis Audi/VW has been great the last few occasions. Although one day I couldn't get the time of day, but they made it up with Price.

As a matter of fact in April, they already had 10 2015 non-TDI's allocated to them, None were bought or allocated to customers yet.

Sorry to hear your troubles.
