I have the iSkin adapter and can tell you it does not work on my unmodified 30pin connector on my 2011 Audi A4. How did you get it to work? MMS just says it isn't compatible when I try to connect. The unit works on my stereo though

false alarm... it does not work.
i thought i had it working after I paired it with my phone and music start playing
then i realized it's playing from my SD card not my iphone.

I'm still in search of it... I might just get an MMI to AUX cable so I can use it via AUX port

This method works well while we wait for the "functionality to come in the near future" to our 3G MMI systems

Audi's Claim:
http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publi...ter_4301.shtml

see bottom of article....

that will supposedly enable stereo bluetooth without the need for additional hardware. Oh well...

Shown nicely in the website below, this alternative solution to waiting for Audi requires you to mod an AMI cable for an Ipod and find a bluetooth adapter for ipod accessories such as the Sprint FIPO. I purchased both the AMI cable and the Bluetooth Adapter off ebay for $65 total....maybe you can do better.

Bluetooth solution:
http://a5oc.com/forums/a5-s5-topics/...o-via-mmi.html

Scroll down for the cable mod details.....involves opening the connector, removing some wires, and changing a resistor....pretty basic electrical....good luck!

Warning...this removes all AMI based control...control is via the ipod, but now Pandora will work too

You used a modified iPod cable?

Try the viseeousa.com, its adapter plug and play bluetooth (A2DP) streaming music to iPod ready cars.. There is the 30pin WMA1000 model which plugs into any 30pin iPod integration cable.
