We have had problems with the airbag light coming on. We've brought it in to the dealer and they "fixed" the problem. Their fix last 6 days and it is back. Any others have similar issues?

It seems to be related to the sensor in the seat.

My dad bought an 08 Subaru Outback in May, and its airbag chime and lights were possibly the most annoying. You put your wallet on the seat or cell phone, and the chime goes off, and its non stop like the Q7, except even louder. There was no way to get rid of the noise. Even when my dog was in the front, it went off. Do people expect dogs to wear seat belts?

We got rid of it 4 months later for a profit, and the fact that it has horrid gas mileage, and the annoying seatbelt chime, however it was a dream to drive. It was high-revving and fast for a 4 banger, and it was huge fun to play with SportShift (subaru's version of Tiptronic). It had great steering feel, and the AWD system was great in the rain.

They replaced the seat belt in the rear. Sounds like all the safety diagnostics are tied into. I've been told it's the tension ignitor, the seat belt, etc.
