Anyone pick up a CPO Q7?

The lease on my allroad is up in April and I'm thinkng about getting a CPO. The lease deals don't seem so hot, so I'm thinking the pre-owned route might be the way for me. I've seen a lot of nice 2007s without that many miles. Anything I should be looking out for?

1; A few of the late 06 early 07 3.6 V6 engines had a CEL issue related to dry start as oil was allowed to return to sump when left for longer periods without use. Therefor a lower mileage one of this age may be more likely to have had it. It was only a small batch of cars and Audi replaced parts per case. A good startup ear and a look at service history may help.
2; Some S-Lines have had a problem with the lower door panel coming away or the rubber gasket coming out. That might be worth an inspection at viewing (again very low rate of occurance.
3; Small Vibration in steering at about 58 mph. Again low occurance but difficult to deal with via balancing (not model specific).
4; turn up the stereo and listen for rattling door panel...again very rare but no solution offered yet and it drives owners mad. (not in faults thread)
Again all faults reported in this forum are in the recent thread.

If you search Q7 in AW for CEL or Dry start you will find posts.
It was relatively few cars and Audi AG updated their production line pretty quick. It seems a batch of cars had a different type of pressure valve that allowed oil to seep back if left parked up for prolonged period. This caused for a clacky diesely sound at startup that went away immediately. A simple replacement housing sorted it.
The only report of engine damage was from a guy who decided to use additive in his oil to cure it... blew up his engine.

Oil Pressure Light on and/or rattle noise from engine at cold start
Audi Q7 - 2007
VIN 000001-062000
V6 3.6FSI Engine
Condition
The cusomer may report:
- Intermittent rattle or clatter noise from engine area at engine cold start for more than 2 seconds.
- Oil pressure warning light comes on intermittently at engine cold start.
Technical Background
The camshaft adjustment is hydraulically actuated and controlled by the engine oil pressure. If the engine has been turned off for a lengthy amount of time, the oil pressure drops down, and teh oil partially flows back into the oil sump. To ensure an efficient camshaft adjustment right after an engine cold start, the oil pressure inside the camshaft adjusters must be built up as fast as possible. During this time a rattle or clutter noise may be noticeable. This noise will last until the oil pressure is fully built up, which normally happens within 1-2 seconds after engine start.
If the noise stays for more than 2 seconds, the engine oil pressure buildup is delayed. This can cause the oil pressure warning light to come on because of overly sensitive monitoring by the instrument cluster software. This delayed engine oil pressure buildup does not harm the engine.
Production Solution:
An additional non-return valve installed in the engine oil circulation and new new software in teh instrument cluster resolved the problem.

Listen for buzzing or rattling over rough pavement, not bumps but pavement that produces vibration. Or listen for a clicking sound from the dash when starting the car.
If it buzzes/rattles, more likely than not there were ventilation motors replaced. If it clicks, it's the ventilation motors.
The dealer tore apart the dash to replace ours and then could never get it back together without a buzzing noise on the freeway. After several attempts, they finally contacted "corporate" (whatever that means) and then sent out a full felt kit. That cured it.
