Default Audi Q7 Cylinder #4

Got a CEL this past Saturday. Went to AutoZone and checked the error code and it is a P0304, cylinder 4 misfire. All plugs were replaced about 5,000 miles ago by Audi dealer during the 55,000 mile maintenance. Planning to replace the ignition coil myself since it is real easy to do but not sure which one is cylinder 4. Autozone diagram says cylinder 4 is up front by the radiator and Audi service guy on the phone says it's in the back not close by the radiator. Does anyone here know? Also how do I reset the CEL after I replace the ignition coil or will it go away on it's own. Thank You.

Not sure what year / engine you have, but there was a TSB on the coil packs. We got our 2007 3.6 coils replaced at ~50K miles under the TSB. Worth checking into before you start spending money.

Thank You so much. Yes I also have a 2007 3.6. You just reminded me of that TSB. I do remember recieving a letter from Audi about this problem but can't seem to find it anymore around my house. I'm past my warranty though, do you think they will cover the issue free of charge?

Thank you so much, I found the recall in Audi of America website. I should be good to go. Thanks for the reminder. Saved me about $150

No problem and glad it helped. That's what forums are for, right? ;-)
