Did anyone here catch the "How It's Made" episode featuring the 3.0 TDI clean diesel. I was amazed with how much Audi uses robots for majority of the manufacture of the engines. The only human part of the assembly line was insertion of the pistons. Here is a link from AutoBlog that I came across last week:
