Default Thanks for the pics! Here in the US, Thule's Aero bars are generally not used..

The square bars are essentially the only ones available. Unfortunately, none of my current Thule attachments (long tray bike racks, wheel holders, etc) will fit the aero bars except my cargo box.

Are the load bars an integral part of the towers? or can you re-use load bars if you already have them? I'm going to check with some local stores to see if they can't at least import the fit kit. Thanks.

Default Re: I recently bought and installed the Thule bars...

Thule US can not get the racks currently so I resorted to trying to order them in th UK and can not find anyone who will ship them out even thought I am willing to pay extra. Any interest on your part of purchasing and shipping them if I prepay you?

Default TTruckee- try the link in Ashleey's post....

I've exchanged a few emails with them today and they're apparently willing to ship to the use for ~$80.

Default You get 3 boxes for the complete kit...

1. Aero bars with locking 'ends'
2. Clamps to fit on roof bars.
3. Rubber mounts to fit inside clamps to protect car.

You can use the square bars with the same fitting attachments. Check out the link, it will give you the full configuration. It's the first time I used that company and they shipped to us in Ireland as a non standard destination. Basically, they e-mail you back with a full quote including delivery by FedEx. I'm pleased with the bars, way better than the Audi ones. and you can reuse them with new attachments on other cars.

I reckon the comapny will be delighted with loads of extra business as long as there aren't any exclusivity arrangements with Thule.

http://www.roofrackshop.com</a

Default Shipping Info to US

I had emailed them about shipping to the US, and here is the response. Undoubtedly would be less if you purchase the bars locally and only ship the other pieces.

Yes we ship with FedEx, the average shipping cost for a full roof bar system is ?40.00 (approx $78.00 USD)
You can order online @ www.roofrackshop.com

Regards
Keith
