When the winter comes, I will be switching back to the stock wheels. Thanks for your opinion....they were defintely not cheap, which doesn't allow me to buy into your 2nd suggestion either. You must be saying the same thing about the R8 wheels, because they look similar to those.

BTW if wheels look good on one car that doesn't mean that they'll look good on another.
It doesn't matter how much you paid for those wheels because they look cheap. Dare I say ghetto?

Thank you for taking the time to point out the wheels are not exactly the same. I said they look similar. I think you could say that 5-spoke double arms would describe both of your pics you pasted. Maybe some day I'll pass you by in the Chicago land area....then you'll see how "ghetto" they look in person. Hard to justify the "ghetto" look from a cell phone camera pic.

Regardless of taste, Asanti rims are not cheap; they're usually 3 piece forged and go for a very large (like HRE large) chunk of change.
I wouldn't bother with an Audi dealer ... take a look for a high wheel shop. If they road force balance them and they can show you that they're perfectly balanced, you'll probably just have to live with the vibration.

ObLu- Thanks. That sounds like good advice. I think I'll pass on Audi Exchange in Highland Park balancing the tires, unless they can promiss me a no cost option, if the vibration persists.

First, thanks Mojohio for taking the time to post the pic and info. Its always great to see what others are doing regardless of opinions.
I can see where both sides are coming from with this but I want to add that I think the Q7 can handle this bit of mild bling. It gives it a lift and refresh for the funner Summer season. The Q7 can handle the look because the rotors are soooo big. I dont think its out scaled, even Audi produce a 22" OEM version.
Enjoy.

Audi has a 21" wheel available for the s-line that resembles the Rs4 wheels.
I don't believe that they have a 22" OEM wheel but I might be wrong.
Personally I like these 23's.

Kind of off topic in helping Mojo with his vibration problem but the Asanti wheels are really expensive and look great in the pic. Custom made wheels are pretty unique too, pretty good chance there wont be another Q like his. Re: the 23's, that vehicle has to ride hard. But that is one of the best looking wheel combo I have ever seen on a Q. Thanks for posting all the pics.
Couldnt agree more with Ob, Road Force Balance can be expensive but is supposed to be one of the best machines out there. I believe there are newer models that are even more sensitive etc than the older models. One of the problems with continuous remounting/balancing are scratches/gouges etc. (purely cosmetic but one of my biggest peeves). Audi dealer really wont specialize in aftermarket wheels either.
I am battling a vibration prob on some new wheels on my Pathfinder. It is really frustrating.
Happy 4th !

As far as the ride.....there is still a little wobble (exagerated on some surfaces, muted on other surfaces) when I'm traveling over 45 mph. I don't know if there is a Road Force Balanced business in my area, but I will be checking into it. If only there was no wobble at all, this would have been a perfect upgrade for me. I know there is not much room on the threads once the wheels are bolted on. There wasn't even enough room to put on a spacer, which one tire shop recommended could have solved the problem. They were custom made by Asanti for an '07 Q7, so I hope this wasn't a situation that was created by them.
