I have both system one in a A6 3.2 Quattro and one in the Q7. I can only say that it has big difference. The Bose System once you turn up the volume, It distort to a level you lost all the mid-high and mid-low freq. The B&O give you clear sound all the way even up to annoying leveling. Especially in a car. I need the studio system to compensate the noise outside. Further more, the sound stage from the Bose system is standard car audio, Sound coming from left and right door panel. The B&O will give you a sound stage from the screen like you sitting at your sitting room.

the Bose setup in the 010s seem pretty decent to me, but then I never heard the B&O either. So reference point. The DSP on the Bose does process sound and give you a stage feel. I feel sounds coming front and center. Definitely better than typical car setup (IMO).

I was looking for Q5 with BO but w/o NAV and the dealer had troubles finding one. B&O in Q5 is better then stock system, but it is very limited (no abilty to alter sound processing, or turn down center speaker, or adjust the sound for front or rear passengers.
thee are no moving tweeters in Q5.
It is a very personal taste regarding audio systems, and I have two friends who listen to talk shows mostly -they definitely do not need any upgraded systems in their cars...
