Hey guys,

I'm going in to take a look at a premium plus 2013 q7 tomorrow that has only a trailer hitch option, msrp. $54,585. Trading in a Mercedes hopefully. I see on true car that average paid for the same car was $53,185.

This doesn't seem like a lot of room to try and negotiate in. Is audi simply that popular that the dealer has all the power?

Any negotiation tactics that worked well for you guys? Keep in mind this is the only audi dealer in the area, so I can't use "pit the dealers against each other" tactic.

I think I will try for $52,000 plus a 2 year maintenance package, and then start negotiating a good deal on a trade in. Would this package be possible? I am sure they are going to kill me on my trade.

I nearly bought one exactly like that a few weeks ago. $52900 was the price I was offered. Ended up buying a 2011 CPO TDI Prestige instead. Wife wanted advanced key and I was pleased to get TDI. Paid about the same with 20000 miles. The vehicles are very popular and in short supply.
