to differentiate my car from others around here (the 3.0tdi SE with 18" double spokes is popular here, pre credit crunch). It was also cheaper to put on the off road pack and new wheels than a new car.

yes, got 20k out of the tyres and the new wheels cost as much as the new conti tyres so not a ridiculous outlay. Only problem is i got back to ireland via ferry last night and the car looks like it was in a mud fight

i emailed my dealer asking for 19" wheel options and i couldn't believe he came back with part nos and prices for the new wheel. They look good in the flesh. Let me know if you want more details
