Default brake qusetion?
Do you need a Vagcom to retract the rear brake calipers while performing a brake job? Also, I know I want ceramic brake pads and what rotors? TIA.

No. VCDS is not needed except on Audi’s with electric parking brake actuation. I used Centric pads and rotors and have been very pleased with them.
