Default Break in period for towing

I'm about to order a new Q7 3.0T S-line. I will use it to tow my boat. On my previous tow vehicle (Volvo XC90), the owners manual required putting 600 miles on it before doing any towing. Can anyone tell me if there's any such requirement in the Q7 owners manual? If so, I'll have to delay the order a month or so to make sure it arrives after the boating season is over.

Thanks!

Default

break-in period is 1000 miles... varying rpm w/o redline, no cruise control or towing. after 5000 miles cruise control is acceptable and taking the car to the higher rpm range will help seat the rings.
