This is puzzling. Your link seems clear, but I've seen from multiple sources that OE tires for the Q7 are Continental - guess that has changed.
I actually prefer Yokohama tires, so I don't know if Bridgestone replacing Continental is good news or bad.

Bridgestone were on the test q7 I tried - not particular impressed with BStone's on our other car.
Wifes car has michelin - and they are awesome - stick like glue and long wear (25k+).
So if audi want me to pay 1600uk pounds for the 20" option then I want to know exactly what I'm getting. Unfortunately this isnt the case and very annoying.

Some pictures of the front and rear Bridgestones tires on the demo car I test drove. I am told these are the default tires but if unavailable, they would be replaced by other premium quality tires. Um.....

I replaced them by 5000 miles. They were by far the worst tires in rain I have ever experienced. Plus every night they would "flat spot" so the first few miles every morning they thumped until becoming round again.
One of my favorite winter tires is the Nokian WR. The tread pattern isn't too aggressive so they are quiet on dry roads and they handle very well. I ordered the 18" wheels for my Q7 because I can get the Nokian WR SUV tires in the 18" size. Nokian does not make the WR SUV tire in the Audi 19" or 20" tires sizes, at least not yet. Of course, those of you with 19" or 20" wheels could always get a second set of 18" wheels & winter tires.
As for the 2004 Acura TL, that was also a piece of junk. Looked good on paper and a test drive was fun but it had tons of rattles, peeling paint, cheap leather that stretched & wrinkled and poor traction in snow. After just one year I was back in an A4. I'm not alone, there are so many people on the B7 A4 forum that traded their old A4 for an '04 or '05 TL only to quickly dump it and buy another A4.
