Yeah, I'm actually thinking hot glue so it can still be removed without destroying anything if needed. Still hoping to find a used one somewhere tho.

Same issue

Having the same issue and seems out of hand to pay $150 for this small plastic piece. Was wondering if anyone had any luck gluing the piece back or finding a cheaper alternative? I have black on chrome as well.
