Broken Timing Chain on 07 Q7 134K

I found a 2007 Q7 locally for sale. The owner tells me it needs a new motor. He took it to the local dealer and they told him the timing chain broke and it needs a new motor. I have bought other vehicles before with the same problem. Generally I remove the head replace the bent valves and replace the timing chain and any related parts. Is there any reason to believe that this would need more than that? Has anyone pulled and engine out of a Q7 before? How hard is it? Does anyone know where I might get a good deal on an engine or long block? Maybe a head?
Thank you in advance for the help.

i am guessing is the 4.2 (BAR) if so you're probably in need of long block. the achilles heel is the plastic timing chain guide not the chain. rebuilt units are anywhere between $6-7500. new $14k-15k providing there is even one available in the US.
