Previously we could buy the Ford Excursion as a truck with two rows of seats if the car weighing over 3500 kg at a nice price in line with other family cars. Because of these special Norwegian rules this car came from a fee to the state and was very cheap. Now they have changed the weight limit for tax to 7500 kg, the car is now so expensive that there is no market to sell them here.

We must remember that Ford's 7.3 TD is large and old industrial engine used above all, it explains the huge oil reserves.

After Ford's advice, I used plain mineral oil ...

Cars are expensive in Norway, because of the tax to the Norwegian government. When buying a used car, we pay tax to the state to get the car over to my name, tax is differentiated on age and weight on the car, an example: Q7 3,0 TDI first registered in 2006 NOK 8424,- and same car registered in 2011 NOK 21 860,-

Not cheap to get a new vehicle registration certificate issued!

Yes, the cars here in Norway can be fitted well. Cars sold new purchased almost always with all equipment, unless they are impossible to sell on the used market.

2007 model Audi Q7 with 170000 km would say a normal family car goes over these years, back and forth to work and family trips, with both city and highway.

In personal aspect, Q7 is better with no super charge or turbo. They made it anyway same on fuel economy. I have 2007 3.6l Q7 and 2015 3.0 supercharge one(and 2006 A4 with turbo). I like plain 3.6l one better then 3.0 supercharged. It has faster accelerating(in feeling) and simpler then fency 3.0 super charger stuff. 2007 3.6l has 230,000 miles on it and still run great (with some servises). I tried to make it to run up to million miles. It seems possible. What I tried to say here is that gas price low, you don't need diesel car. An Old plain gasorine 3.6L will do the job, too. Consider it.
