Canadian Green Levy
Just taken delivery of my Q7 3.6 S-line but was shocked to be charged an extra $1,000 Green Levy. Dealer claimed this is the procedure. Any clues? I booked my car last December and then there was not any Green Levy agreement.

My car was ordered in January and I took delivery AFTER the levy announcement, but was not charged because the dealer said it was bought before the date. I would press harder with them. Maybe my dealer was wrong and I am the benefactor...or maybe your dealer was wrong.
As an aside, when I heard about the new tax, I was very concerned given that I took order of a 4.2...I figured I was going to get hammered for $2000 to $4000!!
