Hi Julie,
I'm in a similar situation, married with no kids. I looked at the 6/7 seat configs, but it was insanely difficult to get in the back seat. When you did get back in there, it wasn't very comfortable.
By going with the 5 seat config, you get additional storage in the back (under the carpeted floor).
Use the savings for some other options.
Good luck,
Mike

I've had both and the extra under floor storage tray is not worth it. Cost is V similar but resale market smaller with 5 seat. Rear luggage space is the same with row three folded down anyway. NOTE anything left in underfloor trays bashes and scratches around making rattles so you tend to leave them empty.
7 seater is really comfortable in row 2 (same as 5 seater) and centre seat folds down for armrest too. Definitly luxurious travelling for 4 with pile-in capacity to 7 for those odd occasions
6 seater is your only other serious option for extra comfort of row 2 passengers with large centre console armrest. Downside of this; doesnt fold as flat, no slide accross row 2.
6 seater is really a 4 seater +2
If you are getting Full Sky sunroof row 3 has even less headroom.<ul><li><a href="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/users/68002.phtml">wdt's picture poster showing 6 seater</a></li></ul>

I got a 6 seater with the 21inch rims and love it.. Its more elegant in the inside but there are some compromises if you need to sit more than 4 regularly. But if like me you normally sit 4 or fewer its the best way 2 go
