Hey folks,

just picked up a 07 q7 cpo. I'm not too concerned about the mats, but was wondering about the ipod cable... The care came with AMI, but the cable is missing. Should this have come with the car? Anyone know if cpo cars are supposed to have all items?

I don't think CPO will cover the cable, CPO is still a used car and used cars are normally sold as is (what's there at the time of sale) with a mechanical warranty. Just contact the dealer, they may order you one for free as a courtesy to a great customer since you bought the car from them.

I went ahead and ordered the all weather mats from bernardi (+ cargo mat)

also, foud the cable on ebay for $25 from china so will give that a shot!

My truck was missing a few things so I didn't take delivery until the dealer took care of it. Ipod cable was one of them but the major was the rear cargo cover. That thing retails for over 700. I'm sure they just took it off another Q on the lot.

Thanks k2audi! btw, The car I picked up is a garnet red also... Was initially set on the daytona gray, but after seeing and driving so many in gray/silver shades, the garnet beige looked really appealing in person. seems to show much better 'in real life' than it photographs.
