Default damn car jack!!

Ok so i had a flat tire.... went to lift Q7 and that damn mini jack that comes with the car friggin snaps.. the bolt that you turn to allow the jack to lift.. literally broke in half.

My Q7 dropped so quick... luckily nobody was injured..... so yah i was stuck on the side of the highway for 2 hours waiting for a tow truck...

luckily the people that moniter highway accidents happen to come by and had a big 2 ton jack and lifted my car so i can put on my spare...

anyways... my car now has a broken jack... do i go to the dealership and just get a new one??? is this a warrenty item??? i don't trust that little jack even if i got a new one... i don't think those things are strong enough to hold the weight of the q7.

You should sent a letter to Audi and advise them of what happened. It's dangerous. Before you get it replaced, take photos of it and send it in as well (while keeping copies of it - and u can post here too!)

Default haha, this story reminds me of when I used the jack out of our old Prius to fix the riding mower,

and the jack broke because it was so flimsy.
