Default Deep gouges on left-side windows! caused by window motors? HELP. Warranty claim?

I've started to notice them getting deeper and deeper on the left hand side only. The driver's side, and even the left passenger side. No scratching or gouging on the right side. Whenever the windows go up or down, I can hear a screeching noise!

I noticed this last week, but I thought it was just sand/ dirt, but after it rained here, all of it has washed off, and the window is pretty clean.

It starting to get worse, but I'm thinking of calling the Audi dealer, and asking them to look at it. Would something, like this be covered on the Warranty because you do get 12months/12k miles wear and tear warranty.

I've circled the gouges, and scratches from the driver's window.

no matter what caused it. they have to fix it, and replace the window.

Default Do they grit as well as salt your roads?

you commented before that the sides of car were filthy. Perhaps ingress of grit occurred due to use of window while frozen on surface.

Yup, sands the roads, and salts the major ones. It only happens on one side though.
