I also retrofitted a NAV and for this, I indeed needed to drop the roof panel to get to the FAKRA antenna cable for the NAV. An extension cable was snaked down to the wheel well for the NAV unit. In my case, the SAT antenna was already snaked all the way down to the cubby hole where the SAT radio goes but not for the NAV. I cannot understand why Audi did it this way.

I'm trying to install an icelink 500. My cd changer is stuck and will not move, what am i doing wrong. I have the keys. Anyone know how to remove the vents instead?

I'd like to know how did you check with a voltmeter to make shure that a slot is 12V ?
Did you checked with the fuse in place or not ?

That part is really tricky. You have to use good bit of force to try and pry the CD changer free from under the vents.

If I remember correctly, all you need to do was press the constant (red) lead to the empty (fuse) slot.
