Guys, longtime Q5 owner that is considering moving up to a Q7. Can someone tell me what the differences are btwn 2011 and 2012 model years? Specifically, I'd be looking for any technology differences with MMI systems and/or Realtime traffic data via Sirius, and frankly any other differences. If it matters, I'd be looking for a certified pre-owned TDI, with Prestige package and perhaps S-Line.
Thanks for the help..

I just picked up my 2012 Q7 Tdi Prestige with basically every option sans B&O $6000 sound system, I am coming off your identical Q5 and it's been a great change.
First, in 2012 you get Audi connect with Wifi for up to 5 devices (free for first 3 months then a a charge) It's awesome with how it's integrated in with the MMI Nav system You can get all info at audusa.com.
So the electronics have been improved. The car compared to the Q5 provides a great ride, especially with the Adaptive Air. Adaptive air in Dynamic mode handles better than the "5" and in comfort mode is smooth over rough NYC streets.
I love the car...1 week old and 1000 miles. Oh and the diesel is a great engine and gives me 27.4 mpg over the first 1000.
go for it!

sleepguy,
Thanks for the feedback! Question for anyone that can help. Does the 2011 with Bang & Olufsen include the ability to play DVD's, or is it only CD's? Again, my B&O in the Q5 plays DVD video and DVD-audio. I do it all the time. Also, does the 2011 have Realtime traffic data in the MMI via Sirius as long as one subscribes to that?
Thanks for the help.
