Default Does 4' X 8' Plywood fit in Q7?

Assuming I put the seats down and put plywood on an angle, does it fit with enough clearance to close the rear tailgate? not near my Q7 so i can't measure. I assume this question has been asked (and answered) before but I did a quick search and didnt find anything.

Much appreciated.

Does not fit in mine.

I tried it already, 4'x8' plywood or 4"x4"x8' posts, wont work.

This is why I have a trailer.

I transported 2 items recently:

1. A table that was 210cm long and 110cm wide (in the cardboard box). I got it in, but the tailgate didn’t close fully. The tailgate was left open aprox. 20cm.

2. A complete door that was 200cm long and 90cm wide. Got it all in, and managed to close the tailgate.

I got both these items home from the shop, but it was not a comfortable trip

Large items like plywood and mattresses fit great on the roof rack ;-)

Ouch... I had to make an emergency run for wood and since my beater truck was in the shop I had to use the Q. Since my guesstimate was right about a 4x8 ply not fitting in the rear I opted to buy 2 4x4 sheets. It fit but the interior is a bit sensitive when shoved with things like raw woods or furniture. The felt like lining and carpet (pre-cargo mat) mar easily so be sure to use a ton of blankets/padding whenever objects are touching the tops and sides, better yet rent a Uhaul...
