Default Driver's seat leatherette cracking

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the faux leather crack on the front seat. The leather seating surface appears to be just fine but the leatherette sides are starting to crack. Anyone know if the dealer has to replace the whole seat or can it get repaired?? I have 5 small cracks about the size of a pinky fingernail. Thanks

Default Yes and it is considered wear and tear by my dealer

quoted me less than $100 to have a 3rd party fix it.

Default If you are still under 12000 miles, it is under warranty...

Mine is a little bit over 15000 and dealer said they have a great chance to fix mine under warranty (Does it mean they know there is a problem all along ? 8-) ) They told me it just need to replace the leather and it can be done in their own shop without going to a third party.
