Not at all. Just glad you are enjoying your Q7 as much as I am. By the way..how bad does MPG drop for you guys when driving in "S" mode instead of "D". I doubt I'll get above 20!

You know I have never even tried the S mode. I'll do it tomorrow on the way to Austin and see.

Railflyer - I have no issues with your comments. I've actually tried driving gently but that has not made any significant change to my mpg, probably because my driving to/from work has many many stops. On the long trip, we consistently stayed within 5 mph of the speed limit (the good part of this was no speeding tickets and no close calls). This however meant we were either doing 75ish on the interstates and 65-70 on the state highways. Either way I seem to be stuck at 25ish

S-Mode feels insane. The car literally lurches forward...Feels like it has so much power. Not sure what it does for fuel economy though..

Just like you, I have had a hard time getting over 25-26 mpg (also while trying to drive gently). However, on long trips, I always hit pockets of traffic here and there for about 30-45 mins... When I first got the car though, I saw 28-29 mpg, but that was only for a little while.

City driving, I see about 18mpg. Not too bad and not too far off from the 19 mpg EPA estimate

My trip... Smooth, comfortable... It's practically a tall A8. The wife is a little heavy footed or the speedometer is faulty or the car is toooo sturdy....
