After driving 6 different Yukon(XL) Denali(XL) Tahoe for the past decade I purchased the Q7 and haven't had an opportunity to drive another for 9 months. Well today, I took my Inlaws 2007 Denali out today for a hand wash and wax and I'm blown away all over again as to how incredible the Q7 drives and performs. There is absolutely no comparison between them and I believe the GM products are way overpriced when a loaded Q7 can be had for 20K more.
Just my opinion but that was my initial feeling after driving the big bad Denali today. Everything about it felt very cheap in comparison to the Audi.
It seems I am now SPOILED for life.

My 5 year old Yukon XL had to pick up my wife and daughter the other day when the 3.6VR6 in new Passat imploded (major issue with oil pump in this engine)
While I appreciate the engineering of the German cars My GM trucks perform flawlessly. To many nits and ****s break on my German cars. Trans in 740 il at 40,000 miles. Blown engine in a passat at 8000 miles (same engine is in the Q7, Tourareg and Porsche. Look at the Q7 my wife thinks it looks like a Pacifica, went with the Passat. Current A8 has actullay been quite good, but too many eratic electrical problems for a car of this price. TPMS is crazy, works perfect on my GMC Trucks
When i picked her up on the side of the highway she could not have been more happy to ride in GMC
