Is it possible to play movies on the MMI Screen?

I think in europe they come with a tuner to play movies, but not in the U.S.

You can add a video adapter to your car but they run about $600-1000. You'd then connect any external video source (laptop, portable DVD player, satellite dish and receiver for tailgating) via your typical RCA 3 plug input. Based on the price and the size of the screen it's not worth it IMO (not to mention driver safety.) You could always add a tv tuner and antenna (factory OEM) for a few hundred Euro.
