First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!
Last night we were driving the Q7 and I noticed that the engine wouldn't rev past 4k rpm. It kept bogging down as if it were starving for fuel. I'm calling the dealer in the morning, but has anyone here experienced the same thing?
Thanks in advanced.
Rich

Hi, Not sure if this will help, but I was told by my dealer that the engine management has been designed not to rev above 4k when stationary (ie. in Neutral or Park). It sounds as if you definately have a fault.
I have the 4.2FSI and it revs beautifully up to just over 7k rpm
