Looking at possibly buying a 2012 Q7 that has 71,000 mi on it. Would really like to have some kind of warranty on it to cover any of the expensive repairs. Does anyone have experience with a good extended warranty company? Did they cover everything? Or just powertrain? Or only certain items? Any companies to stay away from? Should I stay away from a well maintained Q7 with that many miles on it. Owner has ALL service records and seems to have kept up on everything.

my 2012 just turned 100,000 and it is just like new. It has had all service done at the dealer and I bought it used from them as a CPO car with extended warranty. I have no knowledge of after market warranties but if you have all the service records and take it to a dealer for a pre purchase inspection you should be fine.Good luck, I love mine and have no plans to get rid of it unless then let us have the SQ7 (not likely) or the Q8 comes out as an E-tron!
