I have recently purchased a pre-owned 2015 Q7. In the past few days, I have had an issue with the fob button not remotely opening the rear hatch. The batteries in the fob are new and the function worked properly prior.

Are there any actions I can take to troubleshoot this issue before consulting the dealer? I'm unsure if I somehow locked-out the function in navigating the MMI or by one of the buttons. Thanks.

You have to hold down the button on the fob remote for a long time (2 seconds?). It also doesn't close the rear hatch (only opens it).
