I noticed the same dirty socks smell this summer if I turned off the AC by using the economy mode. Then when I would turn on the AC it would be really bad for the first few minutes and then it would be gone. I have not noticed it at all with the heat. I suspect the pollen filter is the cause. The first few weeks I had my car I thought I was smelling coolant but one of the tech's at the dealership took out my pollen filter and waived it in front of my face and it was what I was smelling. They said Audi had reported several customers complained about it.

have experienced the same with both my previous audi's.. a6 4.2 and an a3 2.0tdi... recently however had the auto africa here in south africa and met some guys who have given me a spray that spray down the vents of the car and this has helped somewhat.... they tell me it due to backteria growing in the air flow system that smells like this..

I havent seen one in Ireland yet. I still check out your picture poster now and again for more shots - but you are so modest.
Glad my teen kids arent watching me type this. That hand shaped L would be creeping up.
