Nobody has any idea?
I can't believe that no one has any idea how long it takes from VIN availability to actual production to delivery.
Help an impatient new Audi owner please.
Took my Denali in today and am in a loaner now.

Re: Nobody has any idea?
Ask your Audi sales rep. He/She should be able to tell you. That is part of his/her job until you receive the vehicle. I never received my VIN prior to receiving my car, so I have no idea. My rep called me one day (one month prior to the expected delivery date for my Q7) and told me that my vehicle would arrive within a few days from that time.

Re: VIN - in manufacturing; 2 weeks estimated to complete; 1 week to ship to port; 2 weeks across
the atlantic; 1 week at port and potentially 1 week in transit to your dealer = 6-8 weeks was what I was told after VIN.

I was told mine has been delayed about a week
to allow them to address quality control issues (not sure which). I had a VIN in Oct. I ordered my 4.2 Premium 11 Sep which was scheduled to arrive at port (Dover, DE I think)on 21 Nov. Was scheduled for arrival at dealer 11 Dec. Now its 18 Dec.

If that holds true for me it would delay delivery of my late December
delivery date (which is what I've been told). I ordered my Q7 26 days after you and am being told it will be here only 2 weeks after yours.
Maybe I should gear up for a January delivery eh??
