Can anyone tell me where to find the heated steering wheel button on a Q7 S line prestige? On my premium plus it was easy to find, but with the S line steering wheel it's not in the same location. And for some reason we don't have an owner's manual. Thanks!

Usually next to the radio buttons for a newer Q7 or on the back of the lower left branch on older Q7.

Are you sure the S-Line pkg wheel has it available? My understanding is that the S-Line steering wheel did not have the option for heating, but I could be mistaken....

Thanks. I'm 99% sure it has it. Nothing on the front by the radio buttons. this one is a 2014, my old one was a 2011 and it was on the back of one of the spokes. It wasn't the S-line steering wheel though. There is a button near the power tilt. I'm going to try that when I'm driving and see if that's it.

I think there was a thread here about this not too long ago and the conclusion seemed to be that if you had a 3 spoke S-Line steering wheel with paddle shifters, it didn't have heat, even as an option. I believe the order guides confirmed this.

If this order guide is correct (and apparently they aren't always), it makes reference to order code WQB (S-Line Interior group) not being compatible with code PAW (Cold Weather Pkg, includes heated wheel).

The Q7 with the 3-spoke S-line wheel in the USA does not have heat. Other markets reportedly have it available, and for those it lives in the "empty" slot in the LH spoke of the wheel by the radio station scroll switch.

On my 2011 it was on the back side of the left spoke.

On my 2014 it's on the front side of the left spoke.

Thanks for your help, you're right, it doesn't have it. Who would have guessed that we'd lose that feature in an upgrade in trim levels?? That's annoying. It was one of my favorite things about my 1st Q7!

Here's one way you could try to do this- source a heated S-Line type wheel out of Europe....

but this would clearly come with some caveats in terms of determining air bag type/compatibility, and potentially compromising portions of your warranty.
