Hello All, I am new to this forum and would like to solicit thoughts from the experts.
I currently drive a 2004 Range Rover with 36k miles. The warranty is up next year and I am really hesitant to hold on to it past that time. I have not had major problems with the truck, but LR service is just AWFUL...
I am looking at the VW V10 Touareg or a V8 Q7 SLine.
What is the Audi Service experience like?
What is actual fuel economy?
What type of resale value should I expect. I was told Audi don't resale well.
Thanks
Marc

If you are concerned about service, I wouldn't bother getting a VW. That is why I traded in my 1 year brand new VW lease to this Audi. The service with Audi is absolutely much much better than VW.
Now if you r looking for a TDI Suv, perhaps u can opt for the Q7 one, which is coming out later next year.

great here...so depends on where you are. Certainly Audi service is better than VW...does VW even give loaners for instance.
I will say the Q is nicer than the VW in terms of interior design and features but that is my opinion on what I like, and for the same money you may as well have the extra room the Q gives you. The Q is of course new to the game so at this point the Touareg is starting to look its age and not as fresh of an exterior design.
I think both the VW and the Audi would depreciate at a similar rate and probably the VW more as I don't think people still view it as a premium brand like Audi or obviously your Range Rover. Your Range Rover is probably worse though on depreciation.
