highest mileage

'07 Q7 49,500 miles. So far the issues I have encountered are limited to:
1) the gas cap would not open last winter a couple times
2) panoramic roof developed a rattle
In both cases, adjustments/lubes were done while I had the Q7 in for a maintenance interval.
I am on my third set of tires, however. My lone complaint thus far is the inflatable, temporary spare. I experienced a flat while traveling in a rural area on a fishing trip. Fortunately, I was situated for 6 days and this was enough time for me to order a set of tires from Tire Rack. Since I could not get a Pirelli, I had to lose them with 18,000 miles and order Contis.
Overall, this has been an awesome vehicle and my overall experience is very positive. For such a large, heavy truck, the handling and braking is unbelievable. The luxury and ride makes for quite a nice ride.

Here is a simple formula that allows your mileage to run in the spreadsheet despite a start at 36000 miles. =IF(OR(Z12="",T12="")=TRUE,"",ROUND((Z12/365)*INT($AJ$1-T12)+36000,0)&" "&AA12)
and this one converts all to miles which only kicks in if there is a k (for kilometers) instead of m in the unit column.
=IF(OR(Z12="",T12="")=TRUE,"",ROUND((Z12/365)*INT($AJ$1-T12)+36000 *IF(OR(AA12="m",AA12="")=TRUE,1,0.6213712),0))
MarkItZero should be hitting the 100k this week!
But you asked about mileage not miles so looking down the M/KPA. Some of the guys are putting up much higher mileage per year than him.
I am amongst the lowest (work from home, when there is any work) with just under 7000 miles per year but hat leads to battery drain issues and rust on rotors so I guess there is a happy medium somewhere.

Jusforfun: You mentioned rust on the rotors. I'm seeing this on my front left rotor, after just 3,000 mi in 4 months on my new 2010 TDI. Is this something I should be concerned with?

I may be one of the guys on the other end of the spectrum. At 10 weeks of ownership, our brand new 2010 Q7 TDI has logged in 7000 km (approx. 4400 miles), which would make our annual mileage at 36,400 km (approx. 23,000 miles). We're going to use up the basic warranty in a little more than 2 years so when our TDI checks in for its first maintenance, we'll buy the extended warranty. Love this vehicle.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Not really, Q7 have soft steel in rotors for more bite.
And better balance with pads so they rust easier. Its about lying up time, rain and washing. You have to drive the car after a wash, just enough to warm the rotors. That makes a big difference. If the car is left out after hard driving rain the rust starts if you dont drive.
My issue is once formed, the first drive after may clean the rotors clean but the residue is wiped off onto the rim inner and hub where it eats into the surface discolouring it.
The only upside is we wont get that screeching noise that bothers those who live in hotter climates.
I dont know if any of that helps but here is some more useless info:-)
The Q7 has auto wipe. This means when its raining every 30 seconds the car automatically applies the brakes just enough to touch. This warms and drys the pads and rotors ready for action, pretty cool.
