How can we program 2008 Audi Q7 Remote Key?

figured i would update this and say that keys for 07, 08 Q7 are around 190 from a US dealership, and then on top of that, the dealership wants another 60 to program the remote. I'm guessing this is the issue the guy was mentioning. I purchased a fob off ebay and had the local lock smith make me a laser cut key and spent around 50 bucks for the fob and laser cut key, but i'm still too cheap to pay audi the $60 to program. I'd rather do it myself.
What i'm falling into though, is it's my guess that we need a pin code to get into a special programming area of vag-com to match the keys...is this accurate?

Wow, That's just an amazing amount of useful information! Reading what I've already posted, you would know I have. I'm clearly not trying to get around any security feature for a negative purpose. I'm simply trying to learn how to program my own key to my own car.
LOP - if you don't have any useful advice, I'd suggest not providing any information. This advice is useful for this forum, and audiforum.us as well.

Programming the key involves series of complex communication with Car's ECM (Car's computer). In Audi Q7 there is no simple or manual method to adapt the key to the car. In 2008 model, Car needs to be be connected to Audi's online system (usually accessible to Audi Dealership only) to adapt the key.
Buying it from Ebay is a cheaper option but still it is required to be matched to the car through above mentioned Audi's Online system.
Here is a video which shows details of Original Audi Q7 key circuit and transponder (Immobilizer chip) which will be helpful in comparing the key before you buy from other websites...
