Honestly, I'm not sure how the valet mode works on the Q7, especially with the button out in the open. The valet button on my car is inside the glove compartment. The way it works is that you are supposed to lock the glove compartment and seats and then remove the mechanical key from the fob and only give the fob to the valet person. With the valet mode on, the fob doesn't open the trunk and w/o a mechanical key they can't get into the glove compartment or unlock the seats.

HAHA, I have been to the UK many times and there are plenty of places with valets. Perhaps, you are just to poor to visit these places. TATA FOR NOW. HAHA
