Default How to remove sat radio from Q7...

I had the sat radio box added to our Q7 after we took delivery. The Q7 lease is up and I wanted to pull the sat radio box out. I located the box in the right side of the trunk and removed it, but afterwards the MMI screen doesn't turn on now.

Seems like the fiber cable that came out of the sat radio module needs to be plugged in somewhere else or looped?

Any ideas on what needs to be done to remove this sat radio box and keep everything else working?

thanks!

Although it seems like the problem is academic, the MOST system is a fibre optic loop. If you remove a component like the Sat module, you'd need to close the loop to the next component (I think that that's the Nav unit(?)).

that's what I thought, the person who added the radio didn't leave me the loop that came with the car and I didn't have enough time to source it.... ah well...

You need a MOST loop plug. Or leave the sat radio attached and mount it elsewhere.

looks like this

You can prob get it from the dealer if you cant find it online
