Default Do you also have the sub in the trunk? It's on the left of the trunk. If you have a "big hole,"

, then you don't. It's like a big cubby hole. If you have a sub, the "hole" is closed up, and all you get is a little net to hold thing

Default OK its a bit strange

hardly anything coming out of it. sound is all up front. I unscrewed it and held it. Just sounds all middish and then.....It practically fell out of my hands at the end of track one David Gray's White ladder (Please forgive me) Its like an earthquake but only on the really very super ultra low frequencies. Sort of like a sub woofer and it was even better when I put it back and skrewed it down!

Default Then what's the thing that covers the "hole" on the left. Some cars, it's just a hole, whereas

in others, it is closed, and there is just a net to put things...

Took a pic of how mine looks, I don't have the "hole" (sorry about the bad picture quality and the size).

Default Yep, got one of those

That's what I have. After listening some more today I definately only have bass coming from the front and I have to play pretty loud to hear it. If I listen at a normal sound level or even a bit higher than that there's really no bass at all.

Default Have to try that

What you describe about middish and barely playing is exactly what I have. Will unscrew mine, shake it around and perhaps it'll start doing what it's supposed to do and make some noise

Default Has anyone noticed the subwoofer sounds tinny-like a midrange or high range...

when you have the cover off?? I know you can hear it boom up front but in the back when you have the storage box up, it sounds tinny.
