Kufatec Trunk Close Module - anybody?

So, I installed the trunk close module yesterday (even soldered in as per the instructions).
Well, the bottom line is that no matter which way I press the remote, it won't close. I do know that it's two presses on the lock or unlock buttons to get it to auto close.
Just wondered if anybody else has put this in and had the same problem.... and I'm just missing something simple.
I already have an email in to Kufatec.
Cheers,
John.

Does your tailgate open with remote?
Did you know there are colour options on pin 3 and pin 7?
Did you wire it to the left motor?
The copper core on the Q7 has a protective coating. Have you checked for continuity from Q7 plug to the Kufatec connector?
Be careful doing this as I triggered mine to close on my head during install making this check.
I returned mine to kufatec, they checked it and sent it back with test report. It was my fault and worked perfectly after second install.
I cant think of anything else.

1. Tailgate does open with remote.
2. Wires are connected as per Kufatec wiring diagram.
3. Left motor wired.
4. Connections soldered and continuity checked with a meter.
What do you mean by "Is your standard central locking enabled for remote".
Thanks,
John.

but by all accounts you have everything correct.
My guess is they will ask you to post it back. If you have soldered and have continuity then leave wiring. They will tell you anyway.
Sorry I cant help. Best of luck with it.

Any resolution to this? I'm having the same problem. Continuity to module is fine. Does anyone have the pinouts on the module's connector? Maybe mine is screwed up. Looks like there are 18 pins but only 5 are used.
