Default tint question

How did you go about matching the tint? Did you tint the roof? I'm like you, two weeks into having the car and I still go stare at it in the garage. I too have only driven the car in dynamic mode.

Default Yes you can. You may be able to lower it as much as.......

2 inches. The allroad guys have been doing this with their air suspension for years, it's called the 402 mod. (amount in mm from the center of the hubcap to the bottom of the fender arch in the 2nd lowest position) What you are doing is "tricking" the system that it is higher than it really is so the car will automatically lower itself into the supposed proper setting. It takes about 5 minutes from start to finish to lower or put the car back up to factory spec. I personally lowered my allroad this way about 1/2 inch at all 4 corners to give it a more sleeker look. Some have found by going down more than 2 inches on the allroad will start to have adverse effects on the cars suspension bits.

JET has already lowered his Q7 with a VAG-COM. (see his answer to my recent post about the 12 Hours of Sebring). Click on the attached link to see the allroad lowering mod. You may also want to try and get in touch with JET, maybe he can help you out if you want to do this mod. I hope this helps.

http://www.allroadfaq.com/downloads/mods/402_mod.pdf</a
