Default Loyalty Incentive Gap

Has anyone gotten the Audi Loyalty rebate? I am selling my Q and want to know if Audi will accept a "gap" in ownership between selling old and buying a new Audi. I understand Audi checks insurance registration by VIN to verify ownership.

i believe you have to be a current owner. Just spoke to someone at audi customer care about this. $2000 rebate on the Q7 if you do own a qualifying audi

Talk to your dealer... while I was doing a lease turn in on an ordered vehicle, I turned my old Q in a few weeks ago, and will be picking up the new tomorrow... no issue with loyalty..

To be clear it is $2K for buy, $1K for lease.

I talked to AoA yesterday, it was confirmed that you get $2000 if you buy and $1000 if you lease. The car has to be 2001 or later model

Is there a list for what dollar amounts associate to what models? We bought our Q7 and are thinking of replacing our FX35 with a new A4.

I believe what Sudy said above, any MY greater than 01.

Here is the link:

while the numbers show ranges, my information is as reported before $1K for lease, $2K for buy...

Even more subtle would be the issue where you ordered a brand new car in the last month or so, and you expect delivery before the end of the year. If you're expecting your Loyalty Rrebate, and the new car fails to arrive before Jan 3, 2011, then you could be SOL. No rebate for you.

Update

The dealer should call AOA to be sure they get the money. The money is between AOA and them. I sold my 07 about 2 weeks before the delivery of my 11 and the dealer honored the rebate.

Default Rebate on "sold" cars only?

My dealer says that AoA makes the loyalty rebate available only for cars he can mark "sold" (or leased) - that he can't promise it to me while I'm waiting on delivery. His response to my concern about the current loyalty program ending 1/3/11 is that it is very likely that a new program will then start up. Is this consistent with the experience of others?
