Default 2 things

1st and most important...CHANGE THAT BOLLOXY SIG
or at least make it smaller pleeeeeeease.

2nd Info in that article is all out of date and incorrect.
If you were following Q7 at all you would not have posted it.

It is not available in Sycamore Green
Power is not 233 HP
Mileage is not 30 mpg even in Imperial
IIRC it is governed to 110mph for US
Link in it is no good either.

Default Diesel Still Worth it in the States?

I considered a Mercedes GL320 before buying my 3.6P and I really loved the torque and of course improved gas mileage (or reduced fuel consumption for non-US members). The diesel prices now in Texas are around $4 per gallon and premium 93 octane is about $3.5 per gallon. So it is about 15% more to fill up a diesel. Assuming the diesel vehicle initial purchase price and maintenance costs are equivalent to gas, is it still a worthy purchase? I have read on the Mercedes forums that the MB diesel SUVs are getting highway mileage in the mid-20s MPG, whereas gas models get about 19 to 20 MPG. I am getting as high as 22 MPG highway on my 3.6.

The cost of diesel right now makes it hard to justify. I also get 22 mpg on highway trips w/3.6

It's not just MPG. You get more V6-like low-end torque, with V8-like mid-range torque. Both combined

Default I would like to drive one. My wife has a second cousin that works for ZF in Germany.

He designed the adjustable suspension on the Q and he thinks we are missing the joys of diesel here in the states.
