I have a 4.2 Q7 w 97000 miles and I have had zero problems w it until recently. There seems to be a hard shift in the transmission The dealer has done some work replacing some parts that connect to the tcm and still haven't been able to resolve the issue.

I'm struggling to figure out what to do. I absolutely love this Q7 as its loaded and they don't offer the 4.2 in the US anymore and my extended warranty is about up.

I don't want to bail on the vehicle but I don't want to throw good money into what might be endless work at the dealer. Does anyone have insight into high mileage Q7's and the costs associated (seals, hoses, etc)

I'm looking at the 2014 Q7 TDI and really want the 4.2 TDI BUT ITS ONLY AVAILABLE IN EUROPE which sucks!
